On Firday The Fruit Gallery presented "A Night on Westminster.” Unfortunately, when I arrived at 8:00 p.m. the event was shut down. The event was scheduled for 6:00-10:00 p.m. I thought if I arrived at 8:00 p.m. the event would be hopping. I was wrong. I caught the tail end of it. This is what happened. The band started playing at 7:00 p.m. and at 7:05 the cops came and shut it down. Unfortuantely there were no permits so the event couldn't proceed on. Too bad for everyone.

The intent was for the neighborhood to mix, mingle, enjoy live music and take advantage of the awsome Westminster Square Food Court staying open late and offering free snacks. Oh well, it was a good try Nina , James and Westminster Square. Don't give up. If you need support from the community we are there for you. We look forward to next month's event. Location: Westminster Avenue (Between Speedway and Ocean Front Walk)

Lastly thanks to Zelda's Corner Deli for the bag of world famous mini-donuts. They were delicious. Mini donuts made fresh to order while you watch. I believe Zelda's Court is coming up on anniversary. Please let us know the date. Thanks again.
